Description

Amir Bashir, 33, born in Srinagar, graduated in English Literature from Amar Singh College Srinagar. He pursued his Masters in English from university of Kashmir, and currently he is pursuing his Ph.D. in English. His area of specialization is Trauma studies. Besides he works on queer theory. His specialization influenced him to write more about the traumas which humans encounter at different stages. His collection of poetry is inclined upon the traumas of human life. He is interested in writing fiction other than poetry. He is currently teaching poetry and literary theory in Indira Gandhi National open University, and is working as part time content writer in the Post Graduate Department of English at Maulana Azad Urdu National University.
